Barbara Hill
After retiring, I returned to the artistic world by taking a Fine Art course at the local college.
Other courses in life drawing, printmaking, pottery and textiles have resulted in my enjoying working in a variety of media and subjects.
My special interest has been life drawing and much of my work reflects this.
My work embraces the figurative and leans towards the abstract with touches of Symbolism/Fantasy and Art Nouveau.
My latest work has been a change of direction, using box frames to produce 3D pictures which may appeal to young people.
My studio is No. 9 near the steps on Platform One, and can be viewed on application to the Gallery or myself.
