Ahmed Kungu

Beyond The Pale
(Endangered Species)

Using acrylics and mixed media together with hand-cut stencils, the artist has developed a unique style from the richness of his Kenyan origins tempered by the realities of the modern age. His work explores the conflicting relationship between nature and humankind.

April 3rd - 27th

Open Art Exhibition in The Gallery

Come and see this diverse and interesting exhibition where artists both local and from further afield will show up to three of their original works. The exhibition is open to anyone and the artists exhibit in their chosen media which may be painting, photography, printmaking, textiles, sculpture etc. etc.


 

May 1st - 25th

Jean McKay

Festival of Colour

A self-taught artist from Mytholmroyd (formerly of Stockport and Cornwall). Whilst working and painting in Cornwall she held a number of successful one-woman exhibitions and latterly whilst living here spent much time teaching. Jean has worked with oils and silk paints but now specialises in water colour of the stunning scenery in this area.


 

June 5th - 29th

Local Junior Schools Exhibition

A non-selling exhibition show-casing the artistic talent of the children of Todmorden. You will be amazed at the skill and expertise shown by our children. Most of the Junior Schools in Todmorden participate in this exhibition.
